Seminar on Tsunami

In Seminar Room FITB, on Friday, November 16, 2007 at 09.00 s / d 11:00 organized Seminar on Tsunami with the presentation of the material Dr. Danny H. Natawijaya titled “Historic and Source Parameters of the Sumatran megathrust Earthquakes: What Happens in the 12 to 13 September Events?, As well as the presentation of Prof. John McCloskey entitled “Modelling TSUNAMIS Scaling and Earthquake: Lessons from Sumatra 2004-2007.

The seminar was attended by the Chairman of FITB, FITB The Chairman KK and FTTM, Head of the Research Center for Geotechnology LIPI, chairman of the Center for Volcanology and Geological Disaster Mitigation Agency for Geology and Mineral Resources, Chairman of the Disaster Mitigation Center ITB, Chairman of the Geological Survey Agency for Geology and Mineral Resources and the Head PPPGL Bandung.

The event ended with a discussion about the research project.
