Workshop Development Plan for Research and Training Center Tsunami
Workshop on Development Plan for Research and Training Center Tsunami in Singaraja Bali on 3-4 December 2007. The event was coordinated by BPPT and the Department of Marine and Fisheries. Participants of this event are representatives from various institutions related to research on tsunamis.
The event held at Melka Lovina among others was attended by researchers from the Faculty of Earth Sciences and Technology ITB, PPGL, DESDM, LIPI, BRR Aceh and West Sumatra regency. In this meeting, FITB provides a description of any research that has been conducted by lecturers of ITB related to the tsunami, both ITB pure research, or research with other institutions. To that end, D. Erwin Irawan as FITB staff on duty, working to gather research that has been conducted by lecturers FITB particular, and several lecturers from FTTM, FTSL, and SAPPK.
Group discussion was held to formulate an action plan to be implemented in 2008. The details are awaiting the results of the editing committee and will be included in the next post. (Posted by: erwin@gc.itb.ac.id)
