Discussion Double Degree Program between ITB with Kiel University Germany
Taking place at the meeting of the Faculty of Science and Technology ITB Earth on Tuesday, January 22, 2008 with the leadership of the Faculty Dean of FITB others held a meeting with the leaders of Kiel University of Germany to discuss the Double Degree Program, agenda discussed in the meeting were, among others:
- Updating the POU which had been signed previously between Kiel University, Germany with FTSL, because of Geodesy and Geomatics now on FITB.
- The form of cooperation is expanded, which originally only Master Program Geodesy and Geomatics will now involve other Masters Program in FITB (Earth Sciences, Geological Engineering, and Mechanical Groundwater). In this case the students enrolled in the Program Magsiter Geodesy and Geomatics, Earth Sciences, Geological Engineering, and Mechanical Groundwater in semester two thirds (of course after going through a selection process), can take courses at Kiel University, Germany so that will earn 2 degree (from ITB and Kiel University).
- Similarly, students from Kiel University will take courses at ITB (so that there is an exchange student).
- 4. Next will be SATGAS at ITB to discuss more about the structure of the curriculum, transfer of credits, etc.
