The event was opened by singing the national anthem Indonesia Raya, and followed by a speech by the chairman of the event, Ciputra Hardana. Further speech given by the Head of Geological Studies Program, Dardji Noeradi, as well as the last speech given by Rudianto Hamid, representing FITB Dean and Rector of ITB which was unable to attend the event. The seminar was divided into two sessions. In the first session, there were 4 presentations made by Lulu Sumiarso (Director General of Oil and Gas), Taslim Yunus (BP Migas), Ong Han Ling (CBO Geoservice), and Suzetta (Minister of Planning and Head of Bappenas), which at the time of the seminar represented , There are many things that become the focus of discussion at the national level this seminar, such as Indonesia Predicts Energy Needs Related to Population Growth Indonesia Year 2045. The event concluded with a discussion session 1 all participants of the seminar, and the rest. The second session was opened by the presentation Koesoemadinata, a practitioner of oil and gas, the paper entitled Oil and Gas Potential in Indonesia and Exploration. Followed by Bambang Kustono, President Director of PT. Pertamina Geothermal Energy, gave a presentation on Energy Meets Mampukan Indonesia Geothermal Energy in Overcoming Crisis Migas.
