BMKG research competition

In order to celebrate World Meteorological Day (HMD) to 59 in 2009, BMKG conduct research competition “Application Method of Short-Term Weather Forecast”, this event is intended to explore the potential of people who pursue the development of the science of meteorology, especially the technique of making weather forecasts.
Requirements

Indonesian citizens
Minimal Diploma III
Individuals or groups (maximum of 3 (three) people)

Willing to assign copyright of his work to BMKG
Subject to the decision of the jury
Participants not from BMKG Jakarta meteorology Pusdatin

appraisal

The first vote was held on 9-11 March 2009 date
For five (5) scientific papers are selected will be announced on 13 March 2009
5 (five) selected participants must present his work on 20 March 2009 at the Central Office BMKG Jakarta
Jury set three (3) scientific works best of five (5) selected works as champion I, II and III
Announcement of 3 (three) best scientific papers will be held on 22 March 2009

provision

Participants sent the manuscript of scientific papers in PDF or RTF format along with the registration form via email to achmadzakir @ yahoo.com, zakir @ bmg.go.id, and m.khotimah@yahoo.com
Participants beam received by the committee at the latest on 28 February 2009. The files that have been accepted to belong to the committee.

Gift

All participants will be awarded certificates of participation race
Gift divided:

Winner: trophy, certificate and money Rp. 7.500.000, –

Second Place: trophy, certificate and money Rp. 5.000.000, –

Third Place Cup, certificate and money Rp. 2.500.000, –
