ITB Grieving over the death of Dwiyanto Wisnugroho
Bandung, fitb.itb.ac.id – Responding mazy news in various media, the ITB finally talk about the death Dwiyanto Wisnugroho, a student of Geodesy ITB 2007. The statement was delivered in a press conference in The meeting room A, Annex Building ITB Tuesday (10/02/09) ago.
The apology and condolences conveyed ITB leadership, represented by the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Alumni, Widyo Nugroho Sulasdi. He was the main speaker and transmitter of ITB statement regarding the case of the death of Dwiyanto or familiarly called Vishnu. Also present at the press conference include Norma Enforcement Commission Chairman ITB Student Affairs, Dr. Nana T. Puspito; Dean of the Faculty of Technology of Earth, Lambok M. Hutasoit; as well as representatives of other rector. Also witnessed is also President of the Family ITB, Shana Fatina Sukarsono, and representatives of the Student Association of Geodesy.
The name Vishnu sticking when the media began to preach his death. Vishnu died while attending student orientation activities organized by the Student Association of Geodesy. Based on a letter from the hospital. Borromeo, died late on Sunday, February 8th, 2009 at 03:15. The deceased are expected to die in the course of the location of activities towards RS Borromeo. Until now, the cause of death is still unknown. Student orientation activities followed by Vishnu with about 80 friends sejurusannya, took place from 8-9 February 2009 in the village of Pagerwangi, Lembang. These activities were declared illegal because the rector was not notified about it.
