Bandung, fitb.itb.ac.id Saturday (17/04) Faculty of Earth Sciences and Technology organized event titled “Student Interaction Forces Community in 2009 with FITB Environment”, these activities are intended for the introduction of a study program for students Common Preparatory (TPB) class of 2009. Unlike previous years were always held in one place, activity this year is packed with more exciting the students made group were then given instructions through a map given by the committee, to seek a place or building based on the map.

The purpose of these activities is a series of professional recognition in the FITB, introducing techniques of navigation and map reading to new students as well as introducing environmental faculty, study program, and student activities on the environment FITB. Fitness event was held at the Sports Facilities ITB, before carrying out the activities of the Chief Executive Dr.Ir. Budi Brahmantyo, M.Sc invite the students to sing Indonesian nationality highway followed a speech while opening the show by Dean of FITB Ir. Lambok M Hutasoit, Ph.D.

Dr. Irwan Meilano and Dr. Akhmad Riqqi assisted by the committee set of students, briefed the group of students on these trips, the posts must be passed consisting of academic (courses, libraries and labs) Student (student activities) and professionalism (display the introduction of tools and poster) , but it is also a very calculated. In each study program conducted a series of activities coordinated by faculty representatives including Dr.Ir. Asep H P Kesumajana (Geological Engineering), Ir. MIPI A Kusuma (Geodesy and Geomatics), Dr. Plato M Siregar (Meteorology) and Dr.rer.nat R Mutiara Putri (Oceanography)

After using routes that pass each group of students back to the event center at ITB GSG for lunch then proceed direction and guidance from faculty representatives to fill out questionnaires to each department’s search interest will be selected. Before the event is over handed the prize to the group that managed to be the best based on an assessment by the committee.
