Master of Engineering Groundwater



Hidrogeografi condition known Indonesi very specific need to be studied and examined in more depth. During this time in Indonesia understanding of the hydrogeological limited to groundwater as a resource. In fact, other than as a resource that needs to be conserved, ground water can also serve as the technical constraints that need to be considered, especially in civil engineering, mining, hydrocarbons, geothermal, mineral and underground facilities.

The study load is 36 credits terminal. Compulsory courses including thesis consists of 32 credits, elective courses at least 4 credits. Education can be taken a minimum of 3 semesters and a maximum of six semesters (three years).

Profile graduates produced are expected to have:

  1. Insight and skills base used for the development of groundwater
  2. Insight and ability to continue to pursue doctoral research in the field of groundwater
  3. he ability to design and manage an independent research in the field of groundwater
  4. Understanding and ability to apply knowledge of groundwater in water resource management, engineering, environmental conservation, and exploration of the Earth’s resources

Participant Requirements

Prospective participants are graduates S1 of the department or program of study Engineering Geology, Mining Engineering, Engineering Geophysics, Meteorology and Geophysics, Petroleum Engineering, Civil Engineering, Physical Geography, Environmental Engineering and Physics of the Earth, both from public and private universities and foreign graduates
