FITB Lecturer Participation in International Events

In order to follow the scientific activities and international seminars, some Lecturer in Environmental FITB leaving for Foreign Affairs within the period of April and May, among other things:

  • Ir. Ninik Rina Herdianita, M.Sc. (Applied Geology KK) representing the Department of Geological Engineering has attended two (2) scientific activities in Nusa Dua, Bali, namely: International Geothermal Association / INAGA Joint Technical Seminar on 26-28 April 2008 and Word 2010 Geothermal Congress (WGC 2010) on 29-30 April 2008
  • Prof.Dr.Ir. Yahdi Zaim, Dr.Ir. Yan Rizal, Dr. Aswan, ST., MT (KK Geology) along with four students (Yudha Risnandar – 12,004,058, Rizky Ferdiansya – 1005022, Reni Fauziah12,005,056, and Maisi Asri Riswanty – 12,005,058) for two weeks from April 27 s / d May 10, 2008 will be in Malaysia in order to follow the Job and training Program Student Minor Archaeology conducted by University Sains Malaysia
  • Rizqi Abdulharis, ST., M.Sc (KK Surveying and Cadastre) will attend the 2008 The 6th Taipei International Digital Earth Symposium in Taipei on 15-16 May 2008, in order to present the paper entitled “Customary Land Tenure for Sustainable Development: The Case of Kasepuhan Ciptagelar “
  • Ivonne M. Radjawane, Ph.D. , Dr.Eng. Totok Suprijo, Dr. Susana (KK Oceanography) will attend The 7th International Scientific Symposium of the IOC on Natural Hazards and the Changing Marine Environment in the Western Pacific on 21 – May 25, 2008 in order to meet the invitation of Universiti Malaysia Sabah.
  • Ir. Benjamin Sapiie, Ph.D. and Dr. Ir. Agus Handoyo Harsolumakso (KK Geology) will attend the Asia Oceania Geosciences Society (AOGS) in 2008 in Busan, Korea, on 16-20 June 2008 in order to present the scientific work entitled “New Cenozoic Tectonic Evolution and sedimentation of Western Indonesian Region” (Sapiie et al., Oral presentation) and Syn-orogenic sedimentary Collisional Sequences of the Karangsambung Complex, Central Java, Indonesia, and its Implication to the Development of East Java basinal area. (Harsolumakso et al., Poster presentation)
