Visits SMA Negeri 1 Ciparay
Bandung, fitb.itb.ac.id – Located in the Seminar Room of Geophysics and Meteorology, Faculty of Earth Science and Technology (FITB) received a visit from SMU N 1 Ciparay Kab Bandung. The event is held is one faculty cooperation with schools as well as disseminating the study program (Prodi) in FITB.
The event was opened around 09:00 pm pkl by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs Dr. Eng. Nining Sari Ning, thanks go to represent Dean of FITB who can not attend to the teachers and students on a visit to FITB. Visits of SMU N 1 Ciparay consists of eight teachers and 49 students, Representative of the teachers FITB thanked for the opportunity given to SMU 1 Ciparay to be able to visit and get to know more about the Faculty of Science and Technology of Earth.
The first presentation was delivered by the Chairman Prodi Meteorology Dr. Armi Susandi, he delivered what is in Prodi Meteorological including facilities, prosfek work, student activities etc. also raised the issue of climate change very close to the field of meteorology. The second presentation is filled by the Chair of Geodesy and Geomatics Engineering Department Dr. Wedyanto he presented the study program leads to the visualization of interactive video, seen teachers and students listened attentively. The third presentation is filled by the Chairman Prodi Oceanography Ivonne Radjawane, Ph.D., He presented about Prodi Oceanography and the importance of the oceanographic field considering the position of Indonesia as Hit Engine located between two oceans and two continents, but it also offers scholarships Prodi Oceanography free of charge for candidates students consistent from beginning to pick oceanography at the time of USM. Last presentation filled by Chairman Prodi Geology Dr. Dardji Noeradi, With Her humorous style explains more about these statistics Geological Geological Engineering graduate of ITB. Once the presentation is finished, followed by a question and answer session, the enthusiasm of the students to ask some questions were raised quite a lot of them on the issue of climate change, prosefek work, Lapindo mud, tsunami, marine and volcanoes.
