Anniversary To 5 Faculty of Science and Technology of Earth

Bandung, fitb.itb.ac.id (27/9) To celebrate the 5th Anniversary of the Faculty of Earth Sciences and Technology ITB, held a seminar and exhibition entitled energy, climate change and disaster mitigation. The activities sponsored by PT. Pertamina was attended by Head of BNPB Dr.Syamsul Maarif, M.Si, Head of PVMBG Dr.Ir. Surono, Exploration Director of Pertamina, M.Sc, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation Vice-Rector of ITB and Communications, Partnerships and Alumni ITB.

Speech delivered by the Committee Chairman Ir. Benjamin Sapiie, Ph.D, Dean of FITB Prof.Dr. Eddy A. Subroto and represented Rector Vice Rector for Research and Innovation, Prof. Dr. Wawan Gunawan A. Kadir once inaugurated the event by hitting the gong.

Meanwhile, Head of BNPB Dr. Syamsul Maarif as the first speaker explained the strategy and government policy in the face of potential disasters in Indonesia. After delivering his speech Dr. Syamsul Maarif getting a surprise birthday cake for the date (29/09) to coincide with the birthday-62. Sidelines Prof.Dr. Isham famous as the head of the research center disaster mitigation ITB congratulated accompanied by prayer to Dr.Syamsul Maarif who also happened to be part of a team of disaster mitigation research center ITB.

After a breather from the first speaker, the participants attending the exhibition in the East Hall ITB. FITB in the exhibition to show the entire course of undergraduate, masters and doctoral degrees along with the existing lab inside.
