Open House of Education ITB, 16 – 17 December 2017

Bandung, itb.ac.id – To provide an opportunity for the wider community to learn more about the educational programs offered by the Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), ITB through the Office of the Executive Directorate of Management of Admissions and Education Cooperation (DEKTM) organizing the Open House Education on Saturday and Sunday, 16-17 December 2017 held at West Hall and East Hall, ITB Campus, Jalan Ganesha 10 Bandung. This event is open for public starting at 08.00 am and closing at 17.00 pm. This event consists of two main activities; education exhibition and presentation of the study programs by the Faculty / School.

In education exhibition will be displayed stands from the Faculty / School such as Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Faculty of Earth Sciences and Technology (FITB), Faculty of Mining and Petroleum Engineering (FTTM), Faculty of Industrial Technology (FTI), Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace (FTMD), Faculty of Art and Design (FSRD), School of Life Sciences and Technology (SITH), School of Pharmacy (SF), School of Electrical and Informatics Engineering (STEI), School of Architecture, Planning, and Policy Development (SAPPK) and School of Business and Management (SBM). In addition, there are also exhibition stands of the Graduate School of ITB (SPS ITB), Institute of Student Affairs (LK) and ITB Multi campus (Jatinangor campus and Cirebon campus).

At the faculty / school booths, visitors can ask questions and discuss about courses of undergraduate program and post-graduate program.  At the Student Affairs Institute (LK) booth, visitors can get an information about student activities and scholarship opportunities which is available to ITB students, while information on scholarship at post-graduate level and other information about the process of education in post-graduate program can be obtained at the Post Graduate School (SPS). In this exhibition will also show information about the atmosphere of Jatinangor campus and the design of Cirebon campus. Exhibition booths located in the West Hall are from Faculty of Art and Design (FSRD), School of Architecture, Planning, and Policy Development (SAPPK), Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace (FTMD), School of Electrical and Informatics Engineering (STEI), Faculty of Earth Sciences and Technology (FITB), Graduate School of ITB (SPS ITB), Jatinangor campus and Cirebon campus. East Hall will be filled by stands from School of Life Sciences and Technology (SITH), School of Pharmacy (SF), Faculty of Industrial Technology (FTI), School of Business and Management (SBM), Faculty of Mining and Petroleum Engineering (FTTM), Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering (FTSL), and Institute of Student Affairs (LK).

Presentation of study programs are held on the main stage located in the center of West Hall and East Hall. In this event, 12 Faculties / Schools give the explanation about the courses they manage (especially the undergraduate program) and ending with a question and answer session. During the Open House event, each Faculty / School will give the presentation on Saturday, 16 December 2017 and Sunday, 17 December 2017. Detailed schedules are presented at the end of this paper. Visitors can be directly present at the location of Open House Education located near the main entrance of ITB Ganesa Campus. They do not need to register.
