Indonesia has a very specific hydrogeographic conditions that needs to be studied and examined more deeply. In Indonesia the understanding of hydrogeology is limited to groundwater as a resource, whereas in addition to being a resource that needs to be conserved, groundwater can also serve as a technical constraint to be noticed primarily in civil engineering, mining, hydrocarbons, geothermal, minerals, and underground facilities.
The minimum load study is 36 credits. Compulsory courses include thesis consisting of 32 credits, elective courses of at least 4 credits. Education can be reached minimum 3 semesters and maximum 6 semesters in 3 years.
Profile of graduates and competencies
The graduate profile is expected to have:
1. Basic insights and skills used for groundwater development
2. Basic insights and ability to continue research into doctoral degree in ground water
3. Ability to design and manage an independent study in the groundwater field
4. Understanding and ability to apply groundwater knowledge in water resources management, engineering, environmental conservation, and exploration of earth resources.
Participant Requirements
Participants are graduates of Bachelor Program of Geological Engineering, Mining Engineering, Geophysics, Geophysics and Meteorology, Petroleum Engineering, Civil Engineering, Physical Geography, Environmental Engineering and Earth Physics, both from state and private universities and foreign graduates
