Earth Day 2011

Bandung, fitb.itb.ac.id (05/03) In commemoration of Earth Day 2011 Faculty of Science and Technology of Earth on May 3, 2011 organized various activities including Stand Expo, coloring contest kindergarten level, drawing competition for primary schools and Olympic Kebumian high school all levels Bandung Raya.

At 08.00 am the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ir Bambang Priadi gave a speech while opening the event. In his speech he expressed appreciation for the presence of the participants and invited to jointly recognize the earth, matter and take measures to save the Earth from destruction. The event was attended by nearly 150 participants and was accompanied also by the teachers.

For Earth Day 2011 contest, coloring contest First Prize was won by TK Mother of Ganesha, the First Prize drawing competition was won by SDN 1 Cisitu and First Prize at the same Olympic Kebumian trophy won by SMU 1 Ciparay. At the end, the committee dispenses fir tree to the teachers to then planted in each school.
