Doctoral Assembly ITB: Ahmad Syafruddin and Erwin Irawan

BANDUNG, itb.ac.id – Friday, July 3, 2009, back Bandung Institute of Technology held an open session doctoral student. On this occasion, Ahmad Syafruddin Indrapriyatna (33404001) and Erwin Irawan (32005002) earned his doctorate from the ITB. Acting as the chairman is Prof. Herri Susanto (FTI) and Prof. Isaac Hanafiyyah Ismullah, DEA (FITB).

Syafruddin Ahmad, a student of Industrial Engineering and Management, Faculty of Industrial Technology (FTI) developed a batch scheduling model proposed by Halim et al. (2001) which includes aspects, (1) splitting the cost savings and in-process-part of the finished-part in an in-process-batch, (2) determining the sample size in acceptance sampling proportional to the size of the batch, (3) the size of the batch and the sample size in the form of an integer, (4) pay attention to deterioration of the engine, and (5) to accommodate the unavailability machine hose.
Dissertation titled “Model Batch Scheduling With the unavailability Machines For Manufacturing System Terdeteriorasi” Ahmad completed on guidance Prof.Dr.Ir. Hakim Abdul Halim as a promoter with Co-Promoter Prof.Dr.Ir. Bermawi P. Iskandar and Suprayogi, Ph.D.

Research Ahmad is a research model developed in stages to the manufacturing system consisting of one machine first and then to flowshop manufacturing system consisting of m-machine.
On the same day, Erwin Irawan (32005002) Student of Geological Engineering, Faculty of Science and Technology of Earth (FITB) holds a PhD after successfully defending his dissertation entitled “Model of Hydrogeology Based Analysis of Changes in Physical-Chemical Groundwater on the aquifer system Deposition Volcano Case Study : Zona Spring Mountain Ciremai, West Java.

Erwin research using springs observation and analysis of the 15 physical and chemical properties of water using correlation analysis, cluster analysis and principal component analysis in Mount Ciremai, Kuningan, West Java. The aim is to identify the hydrogeological model of the aquifer system consisting of volcanic sediment and groundwater flow patterns.
During his research, Erwin guidance of Prof. Deny Juanda Puradimaja, DEA as a promoter and co-promoter Prof. Sudarto Notosiswoyo, M.Eng, Dr Prihadi Soemintadiredja.
