CNU Dean of FITB to visit Korea

On 7 s / d 8 November Dean of FITB Mr. Ir. Lambok Hutasoit, Ph.D. accompanied by Chairman of the Oceanographic Research Groups Prof. Safwan Hadi, Ph.D and the Head of S1 and S2 Oceanography Earth Sciences Mrs. Ivonne M. Radjawane, Ph.D visits to Chungnam National University.
This visit as a follow up of the visit the Director of Marine Science Research Centre, Chungnam National University (CNU), Prof. Yong Jae Ro to Prodi Oceanography On headdress February 2009, as well as the signing of the MoU by ITB Rector and President of CNU and MOA were devoted to the exchange of staff and faculty.
The results of the meeting include:

• Joint Seminar agreed annual event ITB-CNU. Year 2010 will be held at the ITB. Will involve more institutions and neighboring countries such as China and Japan.
• S2 of scholarships for students and alumni Prodi Oceanography who will continue their education at the level of S3 (Br. Arief Rullyanto) and S2 (Br. Nurul Huda) in the academic year March 2010.
• A research collaboration in the field of Indonesian Throughflow (ITF) for a period of 5-10 years. CNU party has received a research grant from the Korean government that includes funding for this research.
• Bids research cooperation and cruise (cruise) in 2010 from KORDI (Korea Ocean Research and Development Institute).
